HOW DO YOU CHOOSE YOUR CAR NAME?

I chose this name because I am the first junior girl to do mud racing. I wanted the name of my car to encourage people to join and show them that girls can race too!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN MUD RACING?

This season is my first year of mud racing and it's been fun to see what the track is like.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START MUD RACING?

My Dad and my brother have both been part of mud racing since I was little, and it made me want to race as well, so I am proud to follow in their footsteps

HOW DID YOU FIRST LEARN ABOUT MOTORSPORT AND CARS?

I grew up watching all different sorts of motorsports, including mud racing, and learning from my Dad and my brother.

WHAT TYPE OF RACE CAR DO YOU DRIVE?

I drive a V8 Land Rover Discovery.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT MUD RACING?

I love the competitive side of motorsports!

AS A YOUNG GIRL IN MOTORSPORT, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER GIRLS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN GETTING STARTED?

Remember that not everything is just for boys and girls can do anything as well.

WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S IMPORTANT FOR KIDS TO GET INVOLVED IN MOTORSPORT?

It’s good to get into different sort of hobbies. If you have free weekends, mud racing is really fun to do!

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPONSORS AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR SPONSORS TO BACK YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF?

I have a couple of sponsors, and it really helps our team to cover the cost of parts, repairs and safety things, such as; race gear, helmets and harnesses.

HOW DO YOU REMEMBER WHICH DIRECTION TO RACE WHEN YOU RACE THREE DIFFERENT WAYS?

We have track maps to follow but I always have to ask Dad a few times to remind myself which way to go, but I normally keep repeating it in my head.

LAST SEASON, YOU FOUND A CAR, REBUILT IT & STARTED RACING IN THE JUNIOR CLASS! YOU COMPLETED EVERY ROUND AND EVERY RACEC. HOW DID YOU ACHIEVE THAT?

With lots of help from family! Dad enjoys keeping my car going and we have friends who are very supportive, and I'm competitive and wanted to win.

WHEN YOU'RE NOT MUD RACING, WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?

Camping, buggy riding, fishing or anything outdoors.

LAST SEASON, YOU WON JUNIOR CLASS AND TIED ON 85 POINTS WITH THE SENIOR CHAMPION. WHAT WILL THIS SEASON BRING?

I’m looking forward to racing this season again and challenging the competition!
