We’re looking for a self-motivated, organised and reliable person with exceptional communication skills and experience within an office. You will have the ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, support the Committee and be a positive contributor to the team who will champion the NT and the unique lifestyle it affords its residents.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Community Coordinator assists with the day-to-day operations of the organisation and ensures that it operates in accordance with the Committees decisions, constitution, relevant legislation & funding requirements.
This position will be initially shared with our current Coordinator, to facilitate training and support in the role. Hours are shared based on service needs with the maximum allocation of 40 hours per fortnight. Working days and operating hours are flexible, based at our child-friendly office on Defence Establishment Berrimah.
You will be expected to attend a monthly committee meeting (5.30-7.30pm) held in our offices, plus potentially 1-2 meetings per month outside of the office.

Initially this contract is approved for November 2021 – June 2022.
After this period, a 12-Month Fixed term position will be considered - based on funding approval.
The role will be on a Financial Year Contract (1 July-30 Jun) to be in line with the funding by DMFS. There will be a maximum of 6-month probation period with a review process at 2, 4 and 6 months.
The salary is based on the award rate as set by DMFS, with potential for incentivised bonuses based upon an increase in revenue, fundraising generation and performance reviews.
